Enlistment!

Heh.. was actually enlisted yesterday.. but the guys from my camp didn't receive the news.. don't know what the people at CMPB doing sia.. So had to wait till today then go to my camp.. Seriously yesterday and today were both song song days lar.. but then shag too.. Yesterday first thing in the morning at 9am was to exchange my rather familiar pink IC for a card they call the 11-B. Its like a personalised cash-card which is 'powerful'. Haha.. according to the people at CMPB, this card allows you to eat for free at your camp, which happens to be Sungei Gudong for me, and if you go to any polyclinic for medical check-ups or wadsoever you won't have to pay! Talk about welfare! This is it! Haha.. Anyway then was the oath-taking session.. all those swearing you will be loyal to Singapore.. blah blah.. but the atomsphere was nothing close to serious.. people's handphones ringing even during the course of the event.. wtf. LOL. Following that was the most horrfically boring afternoon I had to go through. Initially there should have been guys from my camp to pick me and my fellow collegues to our camp.. but they never turned up.. so we had to wait from 11am to 530 in the evening before being allowed to go home lor.. wtf.. sat on the sofa to rot man.. Saw so many different kinds of people.. from a hermaphrodite (don't know what it is go check dictionary :P), to a really heavyweight guy who's at least 200kg.. no less! Eeks.. peeps out there interested next time then we lim kopi can share stories. wahahaha Overall a super slack day.

Then today was quite boring too. The guys from my unit only came at 1pm.. meaning we were again doing nothing in the morning.. but not bad.. got to know 2 officers working at CMPB.. very friendly guys who are only like3 years my senior.. they gave us a briefing of life in NS lor.. since we are going into quite slacking office work.. he even told me what I could do after work.. sounded really fun lor.. could see that both of them are fun-loving de.. then enjoying life too! Hope when I start my work I will be like them.. When the guys from my unit came to pick me and my soon-to-be collegues up.. we still had to follow them to dispatch documents. Man it was again freakishly boring.. move from seletar camp.. to kahtib camp.. then to kranji camp.. before going to my workplace which is sungei gudong camp.. song man.. like isolated camp.. unbelievably ulu. When I went home and timed myself.. it took 1.5 hours.. -_- Thankfully I am going to book in and live the for 5 out of the 7 days.. so can save quite alot on the horrendous travelling.. but then again.. going to be homesick man.. I am a family oritentated man.. hahaha
