Happily Tired

Though its close to 11 already, and having just slightly more than 6 hours of sleep last night.. and I should be in bed already to avoid another dreadful feeling of lazing in bed tomorrow morning, I still feel the urge to put today's event down in ink, or rather in blog form. Today was truly a wonderful day man. In the morning, work started off to the best start man. My LTC, DXO and Lieutenant were all on leave! The office was pleasantly peaceful throughout the day man. If only everyday passed like that I swear I wouldn't mind serving NS for 3 years. Haha.. nah I aint that crazy.. Perhaps its really true that time flies when you are enjoying something you engage yourself in, which for my case was reading Dan Brown's 'Angels & Demons', the prequel to the now world-famous 'The Da-Vinci Code'. I havent finished the book, but it proved so good, if not better than its sequel, that its really "unputdownable" (as quoted from fellow book lovers giving a rating for the novel), I think I will really have a hard time sleeping, cos right now the events in the book are still fresh in my mind, and trust me, Dan Brown is really a terrrfically fantasical thriller-genre author. Must meet this hell of a person if ever presented the chance! After booking out, I followed my NS friend, Ziqin to the Singapore Pools booth at CCK to try my luck at today's matches. We met another NS man whom Ziqin told me was super accurate in his predictions. I didn't really believe it prior to the meeting, but seeing is believing. And there I was seeing the 2 of them taking out hand-written notes to analyse the most probable outcome of the matches. Then the NS man, whom I still don't know his name, told us to just bank on Home United to win, with him leading us by betting $150. Not a small amount by any sorts, but judging from the fact that Ziqin said that he was very accurate, and Zq also betted $50, I decided to follow blindly with $30. True enough, Home United won the match 4-2, just less than 2 hours ago! Haha.. looks like I have $25 extra pocket money for tomorrow! Seriously I must thank that new friend tomorrow man, and hope he gives new tips too! Haha.. then I seriously will be rich by the time I finish NS. Hahaha! Then just a while ago, my mum returned home from work, and seems like business at the stall has finally gone back on track! She seemed happy about finally getting the customers back since the pre-renovation days. Which also indirectly means she will hopefully increase my allowance without carrying an extra burden! Haha.. but of cos since I already am getting my pay now.. Mustn't take much from her already, and hopefully with this new 'job' of following hot tips, I'll just pass each day on some small bets to bring me through this stretch of time! Man, it really has been a good day! Hardly any trace of the monday blues I oftenly felt in the past! Hah, now that I don't feel that excited anymore, having expressed my happiness over this entry, its really time to go to bed already! Looking forward to a better tomorrow :)
