Anyway, there was a sudden craving for herbal chicken which I had to satisfy, and since I was in KL, happened to buy a mix which was cheap and good!

I wonder if I can find this in Sg, the herbal chicken mix comes with quite a number of chinese herbs, grinded into powder which is supposed to be smeared onto the chicken before either cooking the chicken in an oven or steaming it. Its really convenient, and the mix is like S$2 only. A dish of herbal chicken for less than $10 to feed 8 people, nice.

Another good thing about this mix is that it has the aluminium and plastic for you to contain the chicken in, how considerate. Haha.

Somehow it feels weird to not see any herbs on the chicken, so might as well utilise the stuff I have at home. Some wolfberries, ginseng, and tangshen for good measure. Add abit of water which will form the tasty soup and time to send the chicken for cooking!

Yes the oven that has not failed me on roast chicken missions is at it again!

Hohoho, very nice indeed. But then this particular fowl was a tad too big, and a small part of it was still not totally cooked. Well there's always a next time, since there are still packets of the mix to spare.
Somehow, I think July will fly past. Ahhh the impending challenge ahead, a crossroad leading to the unknown ahead. =/ But heck, Genting this weekend! I shall enjoy it first!
