Finally, after what seemed like a relatively short time of 6 months, my stint as a relief teacher at BPGHS officially ends today.
Firstly, I must extent my heartfelt thanks to all the teacher-colleagues who helped me get the hang of things like real easily. The science department teachers are all so helpful and there's really zero office politics. Of course, there are also many other teachers, especially those who have taught me previously, its just quite amazing to be at the same level with them for a while. Their level of commitment to the school and the students are really so high, and students must thank their lucky stars to have teachers like that. I've also learnt a thing or two about handling certain things, which I wouldn't have known elsewhere.
Secondly, teaching is, matter of fact quite an enjoyable task. The interaction with students never fails to make my day. Its so interesting to see so many interesting characters, listen to all the gossips that we used to hear as students ourselves, or sit through the lengthy sec 1-meet-the-parents session (which was by far the most tiring thing in my stint) as a teacher instead of a student. Being a teacher also made me realise how fun secondary school life actually was, so you kids out there better enjoy (and work at the same time) while you can.
Lastly, to all the students from 103, 104, 105, 106, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, and my Group Y Physics students reading this, I truly enjoyed the times teaching and interacting with everyone of you in this 6 months. I'm not exactly the kind of person who would say mushy stuff, but certainly I'll miss everyone in one way or another, good or bad. Please work hard and do well, for those of you still struggling, seek help! For those of you who still can't be bothered by your not-so-good grades, please WAKE UP soon, there is no time for regrets when you move on in life later to discover that you should have worked harder earlier on.
Guess that's all I have, time to look forward, and good things they may be I hope!
Anyway, an old school game video which I really love.
To those who played the game, or simply just seen the video they used to play to sell monitors/tvs last time. A song that could easily burst tear ducts. As you watch this video, you cannot help but feel how could videos be rendered in 3D so beautifully during a not-so-recent 8 years back. Nice.
