As I played mahjong at home for the first time in almost 2 months, I also got to watch what I'd say is one hella of a good Manchester derby. As far as derbies go, I never recalled such an exciting game like the one today!
Going into the match with all the hype on Tevez and the new-look City, its little wonder many think United could be in for a tough day. Both teams went into this game level on points, albeit City having an extra game in hand. As with United's last 2 opponents in Arsenal and Tottenham, they too, went into the fixture on the back of winning all their previous games.
This is where pretenders and real champions are distinguished. For all the games you can win in the league, if you never get past Manchester United, you're only going to be the team that always claims "we've got a great chance this season". Nothing more than that. Nothing.
Well it might be too early to say this, I fancy United's chances, but they too are too vulnerable at times with Foster in goal, and we've haven't even talked about how Chelsea are really looking like the Chelsea of yesterday that won back-to-back titles under Mourinho. Owen is proving to be the new Solskjaer and it really took abit of luck in what was surely the longest stoppage time in a while to net the winner. Still, as with all title-winning seasons, the more people detest United and write them off, the stronger they come back to ram those words down their throats. Don't you just love that feeling.

Owen's jerseys should sell like hotcakes now. Hahahaha.
