gh the strategist

Theory is nothing when it fails to translate into practice, and as the mind of Sun Tzu has taught me, I need to strategize and win the war that I set out to fight.

The joy of finishing FYP proved to be short-lived and the reality of things suddenly hit me like how Pacquiao throws his punches on the ring. Week 10 is ending and its 38 days away to the first exam. Despite the fact that there's only 4 papers, there's still 3 essays starring at me which I haven't even started. Coupled with undone tutorials for 2 modules since the start of the semester, something in my brain just tripped or something. It's like some natural defensive mechanism that's waking me up from all these false sense of security that all's still well.

Like how I'd like to mash my joystick at home over SF4, my brain is mashing up the thought of panic in the same fashion too.

As a result, I'd would like to adopt the art of planning and strategising to a stronger effect. As Sun Tzu has pointed out 'Know yourself, Know the enemy and you will not fear a hundred battles'.

Thus in order to know the enemy, or in this case ENEMIES, I need to spend a large amount of time studying them, and like really soon. Unlike previous semesters where I did not explicitly draw out a battle plan as you have seen above, this semester seems to have travelled on double-quick time. Having been ill prepared also implies that more drastic actions have to be implemented if I harbour any hopes of doing well for this semester.

I will reward myself GENEROUSLY if I managed to carry out the above battleplan to even 90% of the objectives I stated there. I have been very realistic to put down all the non-academic stuff I'll be doing, such as watching the showdown match on sunday, and going for makan on monday. The times I should be studying I hope I will be, and procrastination PLEASE stay away from me, till 6th May at least.

Okay, everything is going to start from Sunday. I wanna know that this will last. AND something quite major is going to take place these 2 weeks. Till next time.
