you know the days of collecting angbaos and getting all excited about a possible windfall are behind you when all you do is to sleep on your bed the whole time and reminiscing on your own exciting travels just months earlier. not even the cans of abalone or the abundance of fresh ingredients for that sumptuous steamboat can tempt me from leaving the comforts of my room.
the only one happy thing worth mentioning on this otherwise boring new year is the fact that my final timetable is delightfully short.
no longer will i have to bear the pain of worrying what to take, which modules will clash, or simply camp in front of the computer and wait for vacancies. in the 6 semesters of study, i have always been lucky enough to get all that i wanted, though that's not entirely the case, results wise. still, i rejoice at having 2 exams this semester, as well as the fact that i dropped a module which threatened to prolong my misery with an exam which ends on 20th may. right now, liberation is scheduled for 12th may.
oh, its february already.
