A packet of Myojo noodles = $0.40
An egg = $0.10
5 fish balls = $0.50
Filling a hungry soul who slept past dinner = priceless
For everything else in life, there's something as simple as instant noodles. I haven't eaten a packet of Myojo instant noodles for eons already. Before I knew how to cook other dishes, my mum taught me how to cook this. As a kid of 9 years, I was crazy over fishballs then. Everything had to contain fish balls in it, soups, veges, noodles. Nowadays I really don't see it, let alone eat it. But just this evening, after oversleeping past dinner time, I woke up with this sudden craving for instant noodles. Without even checking that there was still a pack of 5 packets in the drawer, I went to the mama shop nearby to get it. The amount of satisfaction arising from fuifilling that once-in-a-blue-moon craving is unexplainable. So much for a packet of instant noodles.
Sometimes I really wonder if people live to eat, or eat to live? Its the kind of question people spend lifetimes searching answers for. =/
