Excellent weekend

Weekends are the only things to look forward to, just ask any NSF. Well that is if the weekend isn't burnt by something like duties, trainings or confinements. I thought I could sleep late given that there was no need of any kind to wake up early to do anything. Nah wrong. The youngest sister needed to go to school for some classes, since PSLE is just next week. Primary school kids are really stressed with the amount of work kiasu schools give to make them excel. But then, shouldn't be complaining, its for her own good.

She woke up me and asked me to drive her to school, much reluctant as I was, I decided to be a good brother and drive her there. Well, it didn't turn out that bad. By the time I dropped her at school, I was hungry!

Conveniently, I went to bukit batok (the most frequented market for me). Bought breakfast home..

Any idea what could possibly be inside?

Tada, solid fried prawn noodles! This packet you see here could contest for the best prawn noodles in Singapore man! Just ask anyone staying in Bukit Batok or anyone near its vicinity, and I guess most, if not everyone will know which stall I'm talking about. Its wetting good in texture, the sambal chill is fantastic, the prawns and sotong just screams of freshness.

3 big tiger prawns that come with a $4 packet.

The packet you see, is actually the dried leaves of the banana plant (or so I think), contains the food in it, and retains the heat, and it really does taste like its just off the stove, even if I ate it 20 minutes later. Naps lah. How wonderful can breakfasts get? Haha. Ok wait, I heard my mum saying she will make Kuey Chap for breakfast later. Not to worry, I'm still hungry. $4 is not enough for a stomach as big as mine. Muahahaa.
