Lego from the past

Another week has passed, another day closer to the end of holidays, and another day closer to the dread of going back o school. Too bad I cannot stop time, if not things are actually pretty pleasant the way they are now. I'll just hope that the new term will bring more fun and excitement (though the opposite is often the case)

Just wanted to share a latest addition to my small Lego collection. The set I wanted soooo badly last time. When I say badly, I really mean it.

The legendary Lego City Airport set with 12 mini-figs. Super lovely.

Super lovely set. Made up for lost childhood? I certainly think so. Count myself lucky they decided to re-release this set, though there are still many sets I want. Could they do more of these kind of things?

I have more or less finalised a timetable for the next semester, while I haven't got the electives I wanted, I don't really want to get them also. This is why...

By far the nicest 6 module timetable I have. However, HP803 is a 3 hour lecture module, with more than 2000 people fighting for 240 vacancies. I need lady luck to be smiling at me, or even laughing if I were to habour hopes of getting it.

The next best alternative, with the popular introduction to communication studies, but its on friday. No more TGIF, more like WHTF.

The worst-case scenario. HP801, from what I heard its rather easy, but then, similiar to HP803, almost 2000 people aiming to get one of the 240 slots. If you look closely enough, monday blues will be soon termed monday blacks if I really get this. 830am to 9am, even after taking away the 2.5 hour break in between, its still 9 hours of school straight! I'm schooling not working!

I can only hope for the best come 1st August. A good timetable is almost as important as a good grade! This is going to be a challenging semester, but I hope the motivation of possibly spending my January - May 2009 in Europe or USA will make me work 101% to improve (or at least maintain) my grades.

I shall not think too much about school when there's still one month away. I bet I will be complaining alot about it in the coming months. I can save on that now.

Meanwhile, the weekend getaway should be the best thing to wait for this weekend. I should be saying TGIF very soon! Hohoho.
