the line between hit and miss

there are just things in life where a single second makes all the difference, which my mum and i experienced for ourselves this morning.

she sent me to school this morning, and while travelling at 100km/h, the car in front of us, or rather cars in front of us all braked suddenly. in that one single second, my mum took a fierce left turn and cut into the lane on the left.

I'd like to thank our lucky stars there wasn't a car beside us when my mum made the left turn. if she had, we would had crashed into it, or had she not turned, it would have been a case of chain accident involving at least 5 cars. that would have meant a totally screwed up day or week, and alot of damages to be paid for.

one second. it really made all the difference in the world.

and yes, all the middle fingers in the world for that first driver who braked out of the blue the first lane(okay i'd take back all but one middle finger if he had a valid reason). fuck you for making my mum and i miss that few beats in the one second.
