cheap thrills

Week 4 of work ended and apart from a couple of minor mistakes here and there, was otherwise a pretty good one. Afterall its also the first 4 day work week since school has started.

Lessons are quite interesting and they cover history, literature and economic reform. These are the stuff that really make you understand the country, people and culture at a deeper level. Although I must say trying to sit through 3 hour intervals per subject is quite a difficult thing, especially history.

One big discovery this week was the cheap dvd section within the minimart in school. I know I shouldn't be promoting bootleg stuff, but its really the cheapest yet! The loot's a whole series of Detective Conan. I'm most curious myself to know how long it takes to finish the 13 dvds.

And in a second trip to the same place yesterday yielded another 2 of the 4 classics that's Journey to the West and Water Margin. The funny thing is the motivation behind buying these dramas were the soundtracks, only to realise that there's only an opening sequence and the actual episodes.

The funnier thing is to come back, realising I could have listened to the tracks online, which was exactly what I found. Anyway this is really epic, part of the reason why I enjoyed the drama so much.

a sunday spent watching conan, eating wanton mee and drinking coke is a well spent one. hahahaha
