loyalty please

As much as I want to finish up my FYP as soon as possible, I find it extremely hard to even get started in the first place. Seriously, the engine's like one that hasn't started in like ten years and I really need to lock myself up, go on 2 days without sleep and finish writing my part before I can finally lay this to rest and continue with my travel plans. Anyway time has seemed to pick up speed and I'm left with 8 weeks officially. too many things to do and too little time. on a happy note, i've secured tickets to tokyo and it's already looking like one hella of a trip.

Well decided to pen down some thoughts about a very fucked up (albeit of very little practical concern) thing that is Rooney wanting out of Manchester United. Although he has yet to tell his side of the story, I find what's been said right now to be the biggest pile of bullshit. Terribly disappointed by his wage demands and as what SAF says, 'lack of respect' for the club. Loyalty is something I think any individual should have, and considering his rise to the top of the game coming from the time since he join United, I really thought Rooney could have done better and stay at the club. We haven't even complained about his poor form since even before last season ended, and whatever happens henceforth, I've already lost a huge lot of respect for him.

The worst case scenario right now is that he refuses to sign a new deal, and then declines moving to some other club, be it Chelsea, ManC, Madrid(allowing ManU to at least earn some money or do a swap to get another good player into the club), goes on to become a free agent THEN move to Chelsea, ManC or Madrid, leaving ManU with nothing, then he can be sure to see all the middle fingers pointing at him the next time he is seen playing at any game. Seriously, any player who wants away at ManU should be allowed to move on cos he's not worth keeping anyway. I'm not so kind as to wish him all the best, and he could well pray hard that he can still win trophies from here on.

Can't quite believe I'm worked up over an issue that really doesn't concern me, but as a fan, and as one who treasures loyalty, what Rooney is doing is unforgiving. I'll be most interested to see what happens, together with all the other fans out there. Okay, enough ranting. Off to bed and its a long weekend ahead (one long dreadful one)
