new semester, new expectations

While many friends around me dread the start of school, I was actually looking forward to lessons today! Strange enough, school has become increasingly enjoyable since I came back from exchange! (Moral of the story? GO FOR EXCHANGE)

And as I am here enjoying the start to the new semester, I realised all those who sat for O levels last year got their results today! It really seemed like yesterday when I got my result slip (and that 12 points) back in 2003. Those students I have taught back then are now embarking on the next phrase in their studies and here's an honest opinion from someone who's been there just not too long ago.

Go with your heart and your interest. Take something you really like and confident of doing well. Be it JC or poly, be very hardworking and do your best for all the damned tests and exams. At the end of the day, get the brillant result and you'd go places! Sounds easy? It is as long as you are disciplined!

I wish I could understand this 7 years ago, now I think I understand and I'm making up for lost time. It hasn't been that late, but to my juniors out there, its early for you and please do what's best for you so you won't live to regret! All the best!!
